Factory Compliance QA

Full Tme / £28,050 per annum
Job Description: To conduct, monitor and record relevant checks on all aspects of production, as directed by the Quality Manual. Highlight any non-conformances which may occur and take appropriate corrective action. Main duties: · To work closely with the Production teams monitoring and ensuring that all aspects of the Quality and H&S on the factory floor is adhered to. · To ensure that CCPs within the factory are being adhered to. · To ensure paperwork in circulation is of the correct version. · Observation of cleaning of equipment · ATP Swabbing / Positive Release of kettles, brat-pan · Ensure Allergen Control is maintained and adhered to. · Monitoring, policing and mentoring of foreign body control measures within the factory. · Viscosity / Quality checks on products at cook exit stage. · Regular checking of the products, exit cooking temperatures , exit chilling temperatures, meet CCP tolerances. · To ensure traceability is being conducted and deal with any traceability related issues in actual time. · Raise internal non-conformances and concessions when required. · Chemical Titrations as per schedule. · To have the ability to work well with and influence operational staff on quality issues and drive forward factory standards. Shift Pattern: Your normal hours of work will be on a shift pattern / rota of either: mornings 06.00 – 14.00, days 08.00 – 16.00 or afternoons 14.00 – 22.00 which are all Monday to Friday shift patterns, or nights 22.00 to 06.00 (nights are anticipated to be 1 in 5 shifts) which are Sunday to Thursday Job Type: Full-time / 40 hours per week

Beacon Foods are recruiting a Multiskilled Engineer. To provide an effective maintenance service to ensure that all machinery, plant, equipment, are, at all times, in good working order and of a high standard of repair. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rotating weekly shift pattern of 06.00 - 14.00 & 14.00 - 22.00, you will support production by resolving breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • Electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer • Practical electrical & mechanical skills and experience within manufacturing environments – food or pharmaceutical industry (HACCP & Food Safety) is a nice to have • Experience with a wide range of equipment; food production, packaging, sealing/labelling, scales, Metal Detection, refrigeration systems, steam generation and all aspects of site services • A good understanding of Safe Systems of Work, with ongoing professional development
